In short. We collect what we need to run the platform and talk to you about it — your account details, how you use the product, and the marketplace data you connect. We don't sell personal information, we don't run advertising trackers, and your marketplace data is yours: we use it to provide the service, not to build a product out of your numbers.
1. Who we are
Snootsouls LLC ("Snootsouls", "we", "us") provides a software platform that helps software companies manage listings, private offers, co-sell and metering across the AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud marketplaces. We are based in the United States and are responsible for the information described here.

2. Scope
This policy covers our website and the Snootsouls platform. Where we process data on behalf of a customer under a subscription agreement — for example the marketplace records inside their account — that customer decides how it is used, and we act on their instructions. If you are that customer's end user, contact them first; we'll help them respond.
3. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — name, work email, company, job title, and a password or single sign-on identity.
- Billing details — company name, billing address and tax identifiers. Card details go to our payment processor, not to us.
- Anything you send us — demo requests, support messages, security questionnaires.
Data you connect
- Marketplace records — your listings, private offers, orders, payouts and fees, pulled from the marketplace accounts you connect.
- CRM records, where you enable co-sell sync — the opportunity fields needed to match and update records.
- Usage data you submit for metering — the quantities you want billed. We treat this as your confidential data.
These connections use credentials you provide. They are encrypted at rest, scoped to the minimum permissions the feature needs, and you can revoke them at any time.
Information collected automatically
- Product usage — which features are used and when, to support you and improve the product.
- Log data — IP address, browser and timestamps, kept for security, debugging and abuse prevention.
- Website analytics — aggregate page views and referrers.
4. Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. How we use information
- To provide, secure and support the platform.
- To sync listings, offers, co-sell records and metering on your instruction.
- To bill you and keep the records tax rules require.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To improve the product, using aggregated or de-identified data.
- To send service notices; and, only with your consent where required, occasional product news you can unsubscribe from at any time.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer marketplace data to train models offered to other customers.
6. Legal bases (UK and EEA customers)
- Contract — providing the service you subscribed to.
- Legitimate interests — securing the platform, preventing abuse and improving the product.
- Legal obligation — tax and accounting records.
- Consent — optional communications, withdrawable at any time.
7. Who we share it with
Service providers who process data on our instructions under contract. We never sell your information.

A current subprocessor list is available on request. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or in a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy continues to apply until replaced.
8. How long we keep it
- Account and customer data — for the life of your subscription, then deleted or de-identified within 90 days of termination unless you ask for it sooner or the law requires longer.
- Billing records — as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Logs — a rolling short-term window for security and debugging.
You can export your data at any time while your subscription is active.
9. Security
- Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Connected marketplace and CRM credentials stored encrypted, scoped to least privilege.
- Role-based access, with staff access limited to those who need it.
- Logging and monitoring, with a documented incident response process.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affected your data we would notify you and any regulator without undue delay, as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, export or restrict your personal information, or object to a use of it. Email hello@snootsouls.com; we respond within 30 days and won't charge you or treat you differently for asking.
US state privacy rights
If you live in California or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what we collect, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Some laws add a right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising — we do none of those, so there is nothing to opt out of.
UK and EEA rights
The UK GDPR and EU GDPR may apply to you even though we are in the United States. In addition to the rights above you can complain to your national data protection authority — find yours via the European Data Protection Board, or the ICO in the UK. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
11. International transfers
We operate from the United States and our providers may process data in the US and elsewhere. Where data is transferred from the UK or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum. A copy of the relevant terms is available on request.
12. Children
Snootsouls is a business product and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
13. Changes
We'll update this page and the date above when our practices change, and will tell account holders directly about material changes.
